So, the actual coffee fest was very nice. We sampled blends from African nations, Costa Rica (always my favorite, probably because of this blend) and Asia/South Pacific, as well as from a coffee farm in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.

Look at this progression, from red berry, to coffee bean, to roasted once, then twice...

It was refreshing to taste nice, fresh, hot coffee. From the beans. I've gotten so used to instant Nescafe powder that I almost forgot what I've been missing... I need to get my own coffee press, STAT.

Spent the rest of the afternoon ambling around the shops. It was a gorgeous day, all around.
