Week in Review

What a week!

On Monday I was lucky enough to be on the Cook-Douglass campus of Rutgers University for a snowfall. Loved seeing the snow cover up all the fallen leaves:

By the middle of the week, Thanksgiving visits were over for most folks. Got a classic diner breakfast with one of my oldest friends--a Jersey native now living in CA:

What a meal!
In co-op news, health supplements and cleanses are some of the most popular things in stock. I took a risk and tried a sip of Fire Cider this week, which tastes about as delicious as it sounds: apple cider vinegar, horseradish and honey. It's supposed to prevent colds. Well, it definitely made me sweat SOMETHING out:

The early sunset makes after-work walks a little tricky. But I still try to fit them in:

Damage from Sandy still visible on this trail.

Went to book club for this great read, and was served chai prepared in the Afghani way, in honor of our book selection. (Apparently there's nothing YouTube can't teach us.) Green tea steeped with Saffron and Cardamom--delicious!
